The 21st Season of Diablo 3 has been running for a few days now. By now, it has become clear which class might be the strongest. MeinMMO takes a look at the current solo rankings.
Since Friday, July 3, the 21st Season of Diablo 3 has been underway with a cool, albeit annoying season theme. For a week now, the best players have been battling it out for a top spot on the current leaderboard.
MeinMMO is taking a look at the current leaderboard and comparing the performance of all classes to find out which ones are the strongest (as of: July 10 at 1:37 PM).
The leaderboard is topped by Demon Hunters in Season 21 – which should please many of you, because Demon Hunters are your favorite class this season. Overall, the distribution is quite balanced. Only Wizards are lagging behind a bit.
The current leaderboard of Season 21 in Diablo 3
What exactly are we looking at? For our comparison, we are looking at the European solo leaderboard in Diablo 3. This only concerns the softcore mode. Hardcore is not included in the comparison.
What builds are being played? To give you an idea of which class is currently being played in which way, we have listed for you the strongest EU players with their respective builds and current records:
- 1. Demon Hunter “Remind” – GR 137 in ~13 minutes and 51 seconds (Hero profile on Diablo3.com)
- 2. Crusader “Godly3” – GR 130 in ~ 14 minutes (Hero profile on Diablo3.com)
- 3. Witch Doctor “Baskenater” – GR 130 in ~14 minutes and 20 seconds (Hero profile on Diablo3.com)
- 4. Barbarian “Kaon” – GR 130 in ~14 minutes and 44 seconds (Hero profile on Diablo3.com)

What makes Demon Hunters so strong? With a full 7 levels difference to the second place, the Demon Hunter is clearly ahead. This is mainly due to its new, powerful season set, the “Gear of War”. Because of this, one of the weakest classes has suddenly become the best.
The set builds on primary skills and increases their damage by a whopping 10,000%. You can find more about the new set in our preview of the season, where we have already explained it in detail.
Think you can do better? If you also want to jump into the rankings, you can quickly reach level 70 with our level guide for season 21. From there, nothing stands in your way to challenge the current champions.
If you are new to Diablo 3 or need general tips, you should prepare yourself before starting with the “Greater Rifts”. In our overview of season 21, you will find all the important information on the best classes, the best builds, and the current tier list.
