The best exotic armors of the Hunters
The Hunter as a Sneak: Forsaken also introduced new talents and super attacks for the Hunter. In this context, the Hunter also received four new exotic armors, of which we want to take a closer look at two.
Galanor Fragments – Gloves

This is what the exotic gloves Galanor Fragments can do: According to the description, the Galanor Fragments grant super energy as long as you land hits and kills with the new Blade Barrage super of the Gunslinger. Therefore, the gloves are the Hunter’s equivalent to the Titan’s Ursa Furiosa gloves and the Warlock’s Phoenix Protocol.
If applied correctly, you can regain a significant portion of your super bar. However, not all Guardians agree on how the gloves work specifically. It is not quite clear whether more super energy is returned through hits or kills. However, you should always aim to hit as many knives as possible on a target to regain more super energy.

Which focus are the gloves interesting for? The gloves are exclusively suitable and intended for the middle talent tree of the Gunslinger.
Are the gloves suitable for the Crucible? If you are lucky and the opponents are standing close together, you can get a decent amount of your super back. Otherwise, the Blade Barrage is a classic “shutdown” super to end opposing super attacks (Nova Warp).
The Sixth Coyote – Chest Armor
This is what The Sixth Coyote can do: The functioning of this chest armor is quite simple. It grants you a second charge for the Hunter’s class ability—namely, the dodge. Especially in the Crucible, this ability is extremely useful, as it can quickly get you out of tight situations (or directly to where the action is happening).

However, to drive your enemies to despair with this chest armor, you need to take a few precautions first.
Which focus benefits the most from the chest armor? Essentially, you can play The Sixth Coyote with all available focuses and subclasses. However, the upper talent tree of the Arc Hunter benefits the most. Additionally, you should use the following to maximize your Hunter’s potential:
- Ensure a skill distribution that increases your mobility
- Use at least three mods that reduce your class ability cooldown
- Additionally, focus on mods that give health regeneration after a melee kill and grenade energy after a melee kill as well as super energy after a shotgun kill.

This way, you will have a Hunter who is agile, can dodge nearly continuously, and can regenerate health after a melee kill, grenade energy after a melee kill, and super energy after a shotgun kill. Sounds good? It is!
Are the gloves also suitable for PvE content? They may make sense for particularly tough encounters. However, in practice, armor pieces that increase your damage output tend to perform better.

Exotic gear is rare in Forsaken, but worth it: The newly introduced armors are incredibly strong and can drastically change your playstyle. So if you are lucky enough to have found one of the pearls presented here, try them out! You won’t regret it.
