In many quests, loot runs, or masterwork catalysts, Destiny 2 demands one thing from you: plenty of kills. We present to you the 5 best locations where you can quickly take down many enemies.
In Destiny 2, it’s all about shooting aliens in the face. But alongside the excellent first-person shooter elements, a decent dose of RPG makes the game so special.
This also means that grinding and farming are on the agenda for many missions or tasks. For those who want to gather as many kills as possible in PvE , we have listed 5 excellent farming spots.
At these 5 locations, countless helpless enemies await you
The 1st farming spot – The cave on Nessus: To reach a cave from which small enemies continuously spawn, you just need to head to the planet Nessus. Choose “Exodus Black” as your landing zone.
From the spawn, head north and to your right you will see some Fallen. Take down the Dregs or Vandals and look to your left. There you will see a cave entrance – that is your goal.
Position yourself to the left of the cave entrance and after a few seconds the previously defeated enemies will reappear here. From now on you can farm the enemies easily and endlessly.
This goes well as long as you stay to the left or another player disturbs you. Because you are, after all, in a public patrol zone.
The 2nd farming spot – The “Bad Juju” mission: To reach this farming spot, some obstacles must first be overcome. From the orbit, select the Tribute Hall on Nessus.
In the Tribute Hall, there is a shrine where you can choose the mission for Bad Juju. You can still run the mission even if you have completed it before.

Play the mission normally until the encounter with four “Taken Blights”. A strong ogre and wizards usually appear here, but if you leave the Taken anomalies alone, you will be attacked by weak but numerous Shadow Dogs.
Farm as many kills as you want here. Enemies will rush at you from all directions. There is no time limit or anything else to consider. The mission is not very difficult up to this point and can easily be done solo.
The 3rd farming spot – The “Whisper of the Worm” mission: This is also a special mission. Specifically, it is the much-praised task for the Exotic Sniper Whisper of the Worm. From orbit, start the heroic variant.
Dash and jump through the first part of the mission until you reach the so-called Green Room. In the middle of the area, there is a crack in the ground. Let yourself fall here and land one floor lower.
The lower level is pitch dark and populated by numerous Taken. They spawn endlessly and rush towards you. The downside is that the mission ends automatically after 20 minutes.
Then it’s time to restart the mission and complete the jumping section again. With some practice, the prelude takes about 3 minutes.
The 4th farming spot – The Escalation Protocol: On Mars, you will find the Escalation Protocol at two locations. You can simply start this horde mode and summon plenty of enemies.
Especially in the first wave, an incredibly large number of Thralls spawn. The weak enemies spawn in large numbers and even run towards you obediently.
This farming method is most efficient when you take down the Hive until you need to capture a ritual circle. Now simply select Mars from the Director again and start a fresh round.
Since this is a public area, it may happen that other Guardians disturb your farm run. On the PlayStation 4, it was possible for a long time to manipulate the internal clock. This way, you had the zone completely to yourself. However, this no longer works as effectively.
The 5th farming spot – Shuro Chi in the raid: The mid-boss in the raid “Last Wish” has established itself as one of the best farming spots overall. You can easily start the encounter alone without having to play through the previous phases.
By using the Wish Wall in the initial area of the raid, you teleport directly to the mentioned farming spot. Theoretically, you can show up here with any class. This farm is most efficient with the Hunter and his arrow.
To refill your super and all ammunition, you set down a raid banner. Start the encounter and throw your arrow into the Taken horde.
With the Exotic Orpheus Rigg, you quickly fill your super again. This way, you can reach the first damage phase in just a few seconds. Wipe at this point and start over.
This way, you kill not only a ton of enemies but also level up catalysts for special or power weapons very quickly. Because every chained enemy counts as a kill for the weapon used. You won’t have to worry about ammunition.
