As a small addition, we would like to briefly introduce these MMOs as they also look good.
Bless Unleashed
The MMORPG Bless Unleashed is in a tough spot, as Bless Online failed. However, that doesn’t change the fact that it looks really good.
Thanks to Unreal Engine 4, we get to see beautiful landscapes and detailed characters. The monsters also make a very good visual impression.
So graphically, we can expect a visual feast. Hopefully, the MMORPG also impresses in gameplay when it launches for PC in early 2021.
Chrono Odyssey
Chrono Odyssey is an MMORPG that will only enter a testing phase in 2021. The first trailer for the online game looks fantastic, although it is unclear whether gameplay graphics are featured. Thus, we will only briefly address the MMORPG in this list until we know how it actually looks.
The game immerses you in a vast world where you must contend with 12 gods. You can improve your hero via an interesting job system. In addition to PvE elements like quests and fights against boss monsters, PvP also plays a role, for instance during Realm-versus-Realm battles.
Chrono Odyssey currently has no release date. It is to be released on PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
Crimson Desert
Pearl Abyss, the developers of the MMORPG Black Desert Online, are working on their next game, Crimson Desert. Screenshots and trailers look excellent. However, doubts have recently arisen about whether the game is even an MMORPG.
While it was initially announced as an MMORPG set in a different part of the world of Black Desert and also in another timeframe, it is now only referred to as an action-adventure. All references to an MMORPG have disappeared.
Nonetheless, it looks fantastic, which one would not expect differently from the developers of the beautiful Black Desert Online.
New World
In fact, Amazon’s New World is more of a survival MMO with MMORPG elements. However, it looks so good thanks to the Lumberyard Engine that we want to mention it briefly. And for PvP fans of MMORPGs, the game is certainly an interesting option.
In the alpha of New World, testers were already able to see how inviting and realistic the landscapes are, and how much can be drawn out of their character. This character can be individually customized. Thanks to clothing and armor, you can distinguish yourself even more from other players.
Much can still change visually before release. New World might be released on May 25, 2021.
Project TL
Originally announced as Lineage Eternal, the game has been heavily revamped and re-announced as Project TL. Much is still unknown about the MMORPG.
A first trailer looks fantastic thanks to Unreal Engine 4. The Asian-influenced characters appear quite detailed, the landscapes seem beautifully diverse, and the creatures look frighteningly realistic.
When Project TL will be released remains uncertain. However, if the trailer provides a first glimpse of what awaits us, we can definitely look forward to something great.
