Blizzard has announced 10 new heroes for Overwatch 5 of which you will be able to play very soon. We will show you which ones here.
What is currently happening with Overwatch 2? Blizzard is changing its course and is ushering in a new era for the hero shooter. The game is dropping the 2, getting 10 new heroes and a story that is supposed to run until the year 2027.
Half of these new heroes will be available for you to play very soon: Starting February 10, 2026, with the launch of Season 1: Conquest. The developers are already showcasing which ones they are and what they can do in a trailer.

Three new heroes for Team Talon, two for Overwatch
Who are the new heroes? Of them, three fight on the side of Talon and two on the side of Overwatch. In the lore of the hero shooter, Talon is an organization striving for world domination. The Overwatch team (which also gives the game its name) tries to prevent this.
These are the 3 heroes fighting on the side of Talon:
- Dominia is the first real Poke-Tank since Sigma. The developers themselves describe her as an “elegant long-range specialist with deadly zone control”.
- Emre is a Damage Dealer, thus someone who primarily deals a lot of damage. He offers fast-paced run-and-gun gameplay.
- Mizuki is part of a clan allied with Talon. He is a support hero. His abilities focus on restricting enemies, healing allies, and creating confusion.
Here come the two new heroes for the Overwatch team:
- Anran is the older sister of the hero Wuyang, who joined Overwatch in Season 18 (September 2025). The damage dealer fights with hand fans and inflicts fire damage to enemies. She can even rise from the ashes like a phoenix and revive with a fiery explosion.
- Jetpack Cat is a support hero and, as the name suggests, a cat with a jetpack. Her purring heals allies, she has a literal lifeline, and she can also pounce straight at enemies.
Anran will be playable already starting February 5, 2026, as part of her hero trial.
