Karazhan
- Expansion: The Burning Crusade
- Number of Players: 10
- Number of Bosses: 11
Karazhan was the first “real” raid that was also playable for smaller groups. With a size of only 10 players, the atmosphere was much more familiar, leading to more casual conversations in TeamSpeak – at least when one of the tough bosses wasn’t on the agenda. The tower of the somewhat insane magician Medivh featured many outrageous fights that were significantly more humorous than other battles in World of Warcraft.
Whether it was the fight against Medivh’s father, the Shade of Aran, or the chess event where Medivh even cheats – fun was around every corner.
In addition, there were also special books that allowed players to gain powerful buffs, which conveyed a completely different sense of power. Karazhan will always hold a special place in the hearts of players.
The coolest boss fight: The Theatre Event
Every week it was a small highlight to wait for the announcement of the boss fight during the theatre event. Only a few seconds remained for a distribution of roles. And who doesn’t like to run away from the boss as Little Red Riding Hood?
“Run away, little girl, run away!”
