In Terminator 2, Arnold Schwarzenegger again steps into his cult role and must protect the future leader of the human resistance, John Connor, from the killing machine T-1000.
Not only among Arnold Schwarzenegger films is the title an absolute favorite of many viewers, but also in the sci-fi genre overall, Terminator 2 is considered one of the top titles.
Often, the film’s successful action scenes are praised, such as the final showdown between T-800 and the newer model T-1000. It also excels with great special effects, such as the brief liquefaction of the evil machine in battle.
The character developments and relationships between young John Connor, Sarah Connor, and T-800 give the film additional emotional depth and transform even the tough Terminator into a father figure.
