The top PS5 games in February 2021 have been released. The list is quite colorful – from co-op shooters to sports titles to single-player hits, there’s pretty much everything included. Which games were downloaded the most from the PS Store, you’ll find out here.
What kind of list is this? The PlayStation Blog shared a whole series of numbers that show which games for PS4 and PS5 were particularly often downloaded in February 2021.
Among them is the list of the most popular games on PS5 in February – at least according to the official PS Store. We take a closer look at the top games.
The 20 games most downloaded for PS5 in February

However, if you already own a PS5, there’s a good chance you contributed to the following list. These paid games were downloaded the most for PlayStation 5 in the PlayStation Store in February 2021.
1. FIFA 21
The top spot in February goes to the sports simulation by EA Sports. In FIFA 21, it’s all about precise passes, exciting dribbles, and of course, scoring as many beautiful goals as possible.
FIFA 21 offers various modes, such as career mode for solo players or Pro Clubs and Ultimate Team in online mode. In FUT there are weekly competitions and the Weekend League where you can fight to earn the best rewards and build a really strong team. There’s also a PS5 upgrade with a new camera, better graphics, and DualSense support.

2. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Not only Steam hit Valheim lets you swing the Viking axe: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released back in November 2020 but still seems to attract a lot of players.
The game from Ubisoft transports you to medieval England, where the well-known AC formula is implemented a bit differently than usual. One difference from before is the new quests that are set up more like small mini-events.
3. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
The new Spider-Man spin-off was one of the games heavily promoted before the PS5 launched – apparently with success. Because in February, the single-player adventure secured the third spot in the PS5 charts.
The game does not focus on the original web-slinger Peter Parker but on the young Miles Morales, who evolves from a substitute wall-crawler to a real superhero. Once again, you can swing through the beautifully designed New York, which this time shines in a Christmas look and benefits greatly from a new graphics mode on the PS5. Spider-Man: Miles Morales impresses not only with great visuals and entertaining gameplay but also with a really good story.
4. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
The new Black Ops installment of the CoD series was released in November 2020 and sends you into the Cold War. The shooter regularly receives new seasons with fresh content and modes. Recently, Season 2 just started, which also brought the new outbreak mode for Zombies.
Closely linked to the game is the battle royale variant CoD: Warzone. Here you land in the war-torn Verdansk and try to survive until the end. Warzone is also a top contender in the ranking of free-to-play games.
5. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
Rainbow Six Siege is the oldest title in the top 5 of the new list but still manages to attract a lot of players. It’s a tactical team shooter where you face off as attackers and defenders.
There are numerous operators with various attributes and abilities that you can use. If you’re into team-oriented gameplay, you’ll still find Rainbow Six Siege to be excellent in 2021: it belongs to the 14 best multiplayer shooters of 2021.
Rank 6 – 20 of the most downloads on PS5 in February 2021
Below the top 5 are additional titles likely to interest multiplayer players. In 6th place, for instance, is Mortal Kombat 11 – a beat ’em up where you can challenge each other. In 9th place is Borderlands 3, a wild looter-shooter with an unbelievable number of weapons and just as many jokes. No Man’s Sky also secured a spot on the list.
Additionally, single-player games such as Demon’s Souls or Immortals Fenyx Rising are included.
