What kind of game is this? Zenith is an MMORPG that takes place in a futuristic world and was funded through Kickstarter. It does without classes, but allows you to determine your playstyle through your equipment.

What is special about it? Zenith is a VR MMORPG. Without a suitable headset, you cannot currently play it. Due to virtual reality, Zenith is particularly immersive, and you swing weapons with appropriate controllers yourself.

How has it been since the release? Zenith started with 4,629 concurrent players on Steam. For a niche game like this, that’s quite a strong number and brought the servers down on release day.
The current reviews are about 88% positive. Fighting and movement are said to be fun, and cooking is praised several times in the reviews. However, the MMORPG is overall considered somewhat weak. Criticism is also directed at the graphics.
A player writes, after almost 250 hours of play, that he is completely equipped with legendary gear, has defeated all bosses, and now does not know what to do.
In mid-February, the number of concurrent players was between 100 and 300 and significantly below the peak at release. In November, it fell again to around 60 players.
Who is it interesting for? If you own a VR headset and want to fully immerse yourself in an MMORPG world, you should definitely take a look at Zenith. However, the game is not strong enough to justify the purchase of VR equipment.
