How do you install addons in WoW Classic? Installing addons in WoW is a bit cumbersome, but not particularly complicated. You just need to follow these two steps:
- Download the addon and extract it (usually it’s a .zip file).
- Copy the addon folder into your WoW directory at “World of Warcraft_classic_InterfaceAddons”
The next time you start WoW Classic, a button for addon management should appear at the bottom of the character selection. There you can activate and deactivate the addons individually so that they are available when you log in.

Advanced Interface Options

- Show or hide LUA errors (interesting for addon developers)

Vendor Price
In WoW Classic, collecting gold is still an important part of the game. However, this is made more difficult by the fact that items do not have a sale price. You only see it when you arrive at a vendor. The addon “Vendor Price” bypasses this problem and immediately shows you the sale price for every item you own. This way, you can estimate while looting whether to keep something or destroy it directly when your inventory gets too full.

ClassicCastbars
Incredible but true: In Classic, it was not visible by default what spell the opponent was currently casting. You had to guess it based on the animation or get an addon that displays this function. ClassicCastbars is such an addon. Classes with interrupt effects can decide better when to use their stun. This is a big help for players in PvP, but also quite useful in PvE.

Will the addons remain functional? Blizzard has already announced that it will keep a close eye on addons in Classic in the future. As soon as they become “too powerful” or impact the game too much, Blizzard intends to intervene and restrict certain functionalities.
