What is Neverwinter? The MMORPG Neverwinter combines a classic theme park MMORPG experience with the D&D rules system and the D&D world of the Forgotten Realms. Your task is to save the city of Neverwinter from many dangers.
But the surrounding areas also need to be visited. You even travel to the far north of Icewind Dale and the jungles of Chult. A visit to the horror dimension of Ravenloft is even on the agenda.

The game offers you plenty of quests where you fight numerous monsters. Group play and teamwork are therefore important. It is necessary to enhance your hero to face the ever-increasing challenges.
If you are interested in PvP, you can compete with other players in special areas and arenas. The MMORPG regularly receives major expansions, some of which bring significant changes to the game system. This happened with the Undermountain module.

So many players does Neverwinter have on Steam: In the last 30 days, an average of 2,149 players played the MMORPG. The peak was 4,464 concurrently.
This is what players think: Since the release of the Undermountain expansion, Neverwinter’s popularity in the community has noticeably declined. Many of the sometimes drastic changes to the game system have not been well received. This includes that healers basically have nothing else to do but heal, and due to the scaling, there is no longer a feeling of achievement.
- Zeon Erudon writes on Steam: “It was once a really good game, then the developers had the idea about scaling…”
- Cyrus, however, thinks: “It’s still one of the best MMORPGs. There are problems with scaling, but it’s still fun.”
This is what MeinMMO says about Neverwinter: We have a detailed review of the MMORPG for you.
