The 7 km Eggs in Pokémon GO have gained some new additions. You can now find four new Pokémon in these eggs.
The 7 km Eggs were not really popular among Pokémon GO players until now. Only Alolan Pokémon were found in them. And these were neither strong nor useful.
A few days ago, the first Baby Pokémon hatched from these eggs. Now, the pool of Pokémon has been expanded by four more Pokémon.
We will show you which Pokémon can now hatch from the eggs.
Four new Pokémon in the 7 km Eggs
The following Pokémon now also hatch from the 7 km Eggs:
- Snorlax
- Chansey
- Lapras
- Rabautz
How do I get 7 km Eggs? You don’t get these eggs by spinning PokéStops. To obtain a 7 km Egg, you have to open gifts from friends while having at least one slot free in your egg inventory.
Still containing Alolan Pokémon: If you now think that there are no Alolan Pokémon left in the eggs, you are mistaken. These still hatch from the eggs, just not with as high a probability anymore.
New 10 km Eggs: It is not confirmed, but community trainers assume that Snorlax, Chansey, and Lapras will no longer hatch from 10 km Eggs. This reduces the pool of these eggs and increases the chances of getting the new Pokémon Sheinux and Riolu, which hatch from the 10 km Eggs.
Is it worth hatching the 7 km Eggs? So far, the 7 km Eggs have been less popular. They yield the same amount of Stardust as 5 km Eggs, and the Pokémon yield with Alolan Pokémon was rather weak.
Now, Baby Pokémon hatch from the eggs, which can be shiny. Additionally, with Lapras, Snorlax, and Chansey, there are three more Pokémon in the pool that are rare and strong. Therefore, it is now worthwhile to receive and hatch the eggs from the gifts.
