What is ESO? Fans of the Elder Scrolls franchise can experience adventures together with other players in ESO, the MMO offshoot from Zenimax Online. Since March 17, 2015, the online role-playing game has had a buy-to-play model and is called The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.
An subscription is no longer necessary. The game world now also scales, so complete beginners can experience adventures alongside powerful veterans. Every year, ESO also brings 3 DLCs and a major expansion.
