When is Jim Ryan leaving? Ryan announced his departure at the end of September 2023. In an official blog post from Sony Interactive Entertainment, it was announced that Ryan will step down in spring 2024 and Hiroki Totoki will take over the role of interim CEO while simultaneously retaining his current role as President and COO of the Sony Group.
