In Pokémon GO, Eevee with its numerous evolutions is one of the most popular monsters. However, despite the many types it covers, many players believe it could have more evolutions. We wanted to know which one is particularly popular among you in a survey here on MeinMMO and have summarized the results for you.
Which Pokémon is it about? The small, brown, fox-like Pokémon Eevee from the first generation of games is particularly popular among many players. This is partly due to its incredibly cute appearance, but also because of the many evolutions that the Normal-type Pokémon has.
In total, there are now 8 evolutions, which together with Eevee itself cover 9 of the 18 different types in the Pokémon world. Trainers often see a lot of potential for new evolutions and wish for further evolutions that cover the remaining 9 types. We have summarized for you which one is particularly popular among you.

What did we want to know? The fact that many players believe there are still one or two Eevee evolutions missing in the Pokémon world is especially evident on social networks. There, special fan arts regularly appear showing what such new Pokémon might look like. Recently, TikTok user decekayy also addressed this topic in a video and showed possible suggestions (via tiktok.com).
Therefore, we wanted to know from you how you feel about new Eevee evolutions and which types you wish for the most. We asked, “Which type do you miss the most in Eevee evolutions?” You could choose between the types Rock, Ground, Poison, Dragon, Fighting, Ghost, Flying, Bug, and Steel, or alternatively state that you do not miss any evolution.
Your votes: As of our survey on June 5, 2023, 2,461 MeinMMO readers have voted by now (as of June 10, 2023, at 10:00 PM). Which monster would be your favorite and which evolution did not score any points with you can be seen in the following ranking:
- Place 10: 1 % (28 participants) voted for “Ground”
- Place 9: 2 % (48 participants) voted for “Bug”
- Place 8: 2 % (50 participants) voted for “Rock”
- Place 7: 4 % (88 participants) do not want any further evolution
- Place 6: 4 % (91 participants) voted for “Flying”
- Place 5: 4 % (99 participants) voted for “Poison”
- Place 4: 4 % (105 participants) voted for “Fighting”
Place 3: An Eevee evolution of the Steel type
In third place, with a relatively small gap to fourth place, you chose an Eevee evolution of the Steel type. At this time, 182 people voted for this type, which makes up 7 % of the participants.
Your voting may be due to the fact that Steel Pokémon often perform well defensively. They usually withstand a lot in battle since 10 of the 18 types are not very effective against Steel Pokémon. This would make Eevee particularly interesting for the GO Battle League.

Place 2: An Eevee evolution of the Ghost type
One-fifth of the participants would be happy about an Eevee evolution of the Ghost type. With 499 votes, or 20 %, this evolution ranks second in our ranking. Pokémon of this type are mainly seen in Pokémon GO during the dark season, around Halloween, and bring a lot of fun along with spookiness.
The fact that one should not mess with these monsters is also shown by the eerie texts in the Pokédex. Trainers may be hoping for such a creative entry with a Ghost-type Eevee evolution. If it could only be obtained during Halloween like the Dark and Ghost-type Pokémon Kyppuk, this would make the evolution correspondingly rare and more desirable.
Generally, this type of monster could also be interesting for battles against Psychic Pokémon, as Ghost Pokémon are particularly strong against these and themselves do not have to fear amplified damage. Depending on stats and moveset, Ghost-Eevee could potentially rank among the best Ghost attackers like Giratina, Skelabara, Gengar, or Hoopa.

Place 1: An Eevee evolution of the Dragon type
With a clear lead, the Dragon type secures first place in our survey. With 52 %, more than half of the participants (1,271 votes) chose this Eevee evolution. However, you did not tell us in the comments why it is so popular among you.
In general, Dragon Pokémon are very popular in Pokémon GO and the other Pokémon games as they often rank among the strongest attackers. Therefore, it is possible that such expectations are also placed on a Dragon-Eevee.
Other evolutions of the evolution Pokémon, such as Glaceon, Sylveon, Espeon, or Umbreon can prove themselves in raids or the PvP League. Thus, it is not unlikely that a Dragon-type evolution could also fit in here. Additionally, there are not many Dragons in the Pokémon world, so a Dragon-Eevee could be a good addition.
