After many rumors in recent days, it has now been confirmed in a tweet by Microsoft: the upcoming loot shooter Outriders is coming to Xbox Game Pass. Thus, the subscription model’s offering will be even stronger.
When is Outriders coming to Xbox Game Pass? The official release of the loot shooter is on April 1. Then Outriders will be available to all subscribers of the Game Pass for Xbox.
Is this for console and PC? No. Outriders will only be available on Xbox consoles and via cloud gaming on Android smartphones and tablets in the Game Pass. The offer does not apply to the Game Pass on PC.
Xbox Game Pass Gets Even Stronger

How much does the Game Pass cost? Depending on the platform, you pay monthly between 9.99 € (for PC or Xbox) and 12.99 € (Game Pass Ultimate for PC and Xbox). However, be aware that Outriders is currently only supposed to appear in the Game Pass for Xbox – there is currently no information for the Game Pass for PC.
With Game Pass Ultimate, you also have the advantage of being able to play on PC and Xbox consoles and via the cloud on Android devices. Additionally, Game Pass Ultimate also includes Xbox Gold and EA Play with even more games.

What is Outriders about? The signal and an anomaly play central roles in the main story of Outriders. The shooter takes place in a distant future, after a time when humanity has already devastated the Earth and is therefore trying to find a new home.
Humans land on Enoch, the game’s setting. But there is a mysterious signal whose origin the players are to investigate. At the same time, there is an anomaly on Enoch that rages over the planet in the form of a storm and causes unpredictable events.
It can be incredibly destructive, but at the same time, it grants players their powerful abilities that define the four classes of Outriders. For example, anomaly power in the game stands for the strength of the abilities that can be used.

Demo Is Considered a Success by Developers
Many players have already been able to get a glimpse of Outriders in the demo. This has been playable since February 25 and includes the first chapter of the story. According to People Can Fly, over 2 million players have checked out the loot shooter so far.
The developers consider this a success of the demo version, and publisher Square Enix may hope that the Game Pass subscription model attracts even more potential players to Outriders.
