A Twitch streamer averaging 45 viewers is likely the worst player you can have on your team in League of Legends. The streamer has resolved to ruin every LoL match he is assigned to.
What makes the player so terrible?
- The Twitch streamer “intets” – this term means to deliberately throw oneself to death in League of Legends.
- The streamer aims to die as often as possible in a match, driving his teammates crazy in the process. While doing this, he wears a mask on Twitch and dances quite absurdly.
- If teammates explain to him how terrible he is, he links his Twitch account in the chat.
What does the player do that drives people insane? The streamer plays things like “Disco Nunu”: that’s what it’s called when you play the hero Nunu but do absolutely nothing with him, just standing in the mid lane and dancing.
When he pretends to play seriously, he takes completely irresponsible risks, claiming “I’m soloing the tower now,” only to get taken down in two hits.
To support his goal of feeding as often as possible with gameplay decisions, he uses abilities like Ghost and Teleport. This way, he gets to the enemies faster, who kill him.
Apparently, the streamer has set out to ruin his teammates’ ranked matches in LoL: When he plays like this, his own team lacks a player, effectively playing 4v5, and the opponent becomes stronger, as every death gives the opposing team experience points and gold.
The streamer shows proof of his audacity in a tweet that on October 2nd, he set the rank 1 for most deaths in a game with Rammus – having 200 deaths (via twitter).
However, this is still far from the insane record set by another Nunu:
Has he succeeded with this? The streamer is not really successful with his tactics on Twitch: he averaged 45 viewers over the last 365 days. Even when he became popular for a short time through a reddit thread, the viewer numbers only rose briefly – his style of play apparently offers not much entertainment value.
Player allegedly wants to provoke a permanent IP ban
What happens to him? As reported by Dotesports , the player has now been permanently banned by Riot with 708 different accounts. The toxic behavior known as “griefing” is penalized in LoL by an automated ban system.
But this seems to not bother him, as people on reddit say, he simply buys new accounts for little money to jump back into ranked immediately.
It is said that he wants to demonstrate a flaw in League of Legends’ ban system, which apparently consists of the fact that he cannot truly be banned from the game, but only his current account. Dotesports states that he wants Riot to permanently ban his IP.
Players demand Twitch ban for streamer
How is this being discussed? On reddit, people do not find his behavior funny at all. They criticize Twitch, stating that such behavior should also be punished with a permanent ban from the streaming platform. They cannot understand how someone like this could become an affiliate at Twitch.
Users on reddit also ask what drives someone to carry out this hollow behavior, giving some ugly speculations about the mental state of the streamer.
