The YouTuber OttoBulletproof became a fan favorite and the winner of the second season of 7 vs. Wild. Now he is creating his own survival series on YouTube.
What is this series about? The “Arctic Warrior” is a survival series on YouTube, created by Otto “OttoBulletproof” Karasch, which started on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
In the series, eight teams of two compete in the icy landscape of Lapland (Finland) for the title of “Arctic Warrior”. They are exposed to the dangers of unforgiving nature. The team that reaches the destination first and collects the most points in various challenges wins.
Each team consists of one participant with no survival experience (a civilian) and one professional, who will explore Lapland together for 5 days.
Among the participants are Sascha “unsympatischTV” Hellinger, actress Yvone Pferrer, and MMA fighter Stephan Pütz. The professionals include various military personnel such as a mountain rifleman and a foreign legionnaire.
When does Arctic Warrior start and when are new episodes released? The Arctic Warrior premiered on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 5:00 PM. New episodes air every Sunday and Wednesday at 5:00 PM, which you can watch on Paramount+ and OttoBulletproof’s YouTube channel (via YouTube)
Former Paratrooper and Winner of “7 vs. Wild” Season 2
Who is OttoBulletproof? Otto Karasch claims to be a former paratrooper of the Bundeswehr. On YouTube, he makes survival-related videos and regularly shares insights into the experiences he had as a professional soldier.
Otto was also one of 7 participants in the 2nd season of 7 vs. Wild. He endured the survival battle until the end, collected numerous points in the daily challenges, and won the second season of the survival series. He became one of the audience favorites, acting both professionally and down-to-earth.
The Arctic Warrior is the successor to the “Ocean Warrior”, a previous major project by Otto. One of the participants in the Ocean Warrior was Fritz Meinecke, the founder of “7 vs. Wild”.
8 Professionals Meet 8 Civilians
Who is participating in Arctic Warrior? Otto will himself participate in the project as one of eight professionals. There are also 8 civilian participants who have no survival experience.
Among these eight inexperienced participants are also two so-called wildcards, who are not prominent and applied to participate in the project.
The eight civilian participants:

- Yvonne Pferrer – actress
- Stephan Pütz – MMA fighter
- Evil Jared – musician from Bloodhound Gang, also known for appearances in various TV formats
- Gerd Schönfelder – ski racer who won 16 gold medals at the Paralympic Games

There are no detailed information about the eight professionals, as some are still on active duty.

- Sahin – sniper from air force protection
- Manu – army scout
- Mello – survival instructor of the Bundeswehr
- Hauke – former foreign legionnaire
- Tatjana – hunter battalion 25, Austrian Federal Army
The YouTuber and fitness expert Sascha Huber was also supposed to participate in Arctic Warrior as a civilian and was present during filming in Lapland, but he got injured prior and had to withdraw. Sascha Huber was also previously part of the second season of 7 vs. Wild.
