Night City from Cyberpunk 2077 is full of crazy characters. A player encountered an NPC, who engages the law with just a pair of shorts. The situation is so absurd that one might think the man is a bug, but the encounter was no accident.
What kind of NPC is this? The mentioned NPC is an initially inconspicuous-looking, but then acting wildly bizarre man who confronts an NCPD police officer while only wearing shorts. The player Necessary-Mobile182 shares a clip of this sighting on Reddit, where you can see the absurdity of the moment.
The man knocks the policeman to the ground, walks away as if nothing happened, and then informs the player that he collects knees and already has seven of them… only to then start dancing.

“Who is this man?”, wonders the Reddit user. He wanted to scan the NPC to find out his possible name but couldn’t stop laughing. Now he asks the community if the man has a name, but even experienced Cyberpunk veterans are just as confused as the player himself.

“No Shoes, No Shirt, No Mercy”
Is the situation a funny but random bug? No, it’s not a bug, even though the NPC’s strange behavior might suggest otherwise. In fact, the player encountered one of several scripted, albeit strange, situations with NPCs that one can encounter in Cyberpunk 2077.

“This was added as a scripted encounter with Patch 1.6,” explains Reddit user Zestyclose-Fee6719, “CRPR loves to add surprising open-world elements with each major patch.”
How do other players react to the situation? Based on the reactions under the Reddit post, it seems that the community-named “Cyber-Florida-Man” was rather unknown.
“Over 100 hours in this game, but I’ve never seen anything like this,” writes Expensive_Set_8416, but he is not the only one.
JoeJarn comments: “Almost a thousand hours in this game, countless playthroughs, and who knows how many hours of videos about the story and gameplay. This video is now my absolute favorite in terms of Cyberpunk, and I mean that seriously. Thank you.”
The players appreciate the man’s dedication despite his strange collecting obsession. Not only his raw boxing power but also his dance moves earn him many fans: “I don’t know who he is, but the chummer has real moves,” finds SirUgarte, and ProtonCanon writes: “No shoes, no shirt, no mercy.”
Even though there are scripted moments with NPCs in Cyberpunk 2077, there are also situations in the game that are unintentional yet just as effective.
