How did the video perform? A month before the launch of the next console generation, interest in the upcoming devices is very high. Yesterday, on October 15th, Sony released a new video showcasing the PS5 user interface.
The video presented and explained various new features of the UI, which seemed to captivate many from the gaming community. The video achieved over 5.3 million views on YouTube within 13 hours after its release.

Game Help: This new assistance feature allows developers to integrate hints and solutions for puzzles into their games. So, if you get stuck or can’t find a specific item, this feature can assist you.
The goal was, among other things, to ensure that players don’t have to search for solutions on a website or YouTube in the future. It should also help players protect themselves from spoilers, which was praised in the comments. Reddit user Stoibs commented:

Although the new features of the PS5 UI were praised, players also had concerns about their functionality. One of them was that while the features are cool, they might not be actively utilized by developers.
Players would like to see more support for features like help or the activity cards. However, they currently believe that this would only happen with first-party games, and that other developers might neglect the features due to high development costs.
It will be interesting to see how many developers really support these activities and in-game help. It seems like a lot of work.

Although the Activities feature was well received by part of the player base, it was also criticized. Some in the community feel that it takes away from the fun of the game when you’re directly told how much percentage is still left and where you’ve forgotten something.
