Warframe will soon bring a big new update. In “The Jovian Concord,” a whole bunch of new content will come, including a new game mode for the first time again. Our author Jürgen doesn’t even know where to start.
What’s included in the new update? The upcoming update The Jovian Concord offers you tons of new content. Among them are:
- A graphical overhaul of the Jupiter “Gas City” maps
- A new game mode called “Disruption” with a start event
- The new Warframe Wisp
- Series 2 of Nightwave
- A buyback feature for quest items
With so much content, it’s hard to choose where to start.
When is The Jovian Concord coming? The developers have postponed the huge update multiple times. Recently it was said that it should be released in the week of May 13 to 19.
But in the end, Digital Extremes decided to play it safe and release the update only next week. However, it shouldn’t take long.
Since Monday is a holiday in Canada, the update is likely to come later in the week.
What’s included in The Jovian Concord
The abundance of new content provides all fans of Warframe with plenty to do. The following features will keep you busy soon.
This is the new game mode: For the first time in a year, a new game mode is coming to Warframe. Disruption is a kind of horde mode where you fend off endless waves of attackers. To do this, you collect keys from defeated enemies and activate terminals.
These, in turn, give you random buffs or debuffs. You can have multiple terminals active at the same time, which makes everything harder but also increases the rewards. Additionally, you can specifically choose what type of loot you want.
At the start of the new mode, there will also be a clan event. The disruption missions can be found on the Jupiter moon Ganymede.
This is the new Warframe: After the bulky Hildryn was added to the game, you now get the delicate Wisp, the complete opposite. Wisp is delicate and inconspicuous. But she uses solar energy to annihilate her foes. Especially impressive is a skill that transforms her into a kind of death star.
Additionally, she can deploy resources that give her and her allies bonuses. There’s also a skill with which Wisp sends out a copy of herself to confuse enemies.
Wisp will bring her own weapons, so there’s plenty to do to level everything up and expand.
What’s changing with the maps: As the name of the update suggests, it’s about Jupiter and its moons. Therefore, the maps labeled “Gas City” will be thoroughly revised. They are prettier, and you can now showcase your acrobatic skills to explore them. Additionally, the maps now offer more lore and new enemies.
These innovations are also coming: Besides the big innovations, there’s even more cool stuff in the new update. Among other things, you can expect the following:
- There will be a buyback feature for quest rewards. If you accidentally sold them, you can get them back now.
- For Series 2 of Warframe’s “Battle Pass” Nightwave, you should have to grind less.
- The UI of the menu for refining your Void Relics will be redesigned.
- All Syndicates will now be displayed in the relevant screen.
- New mods.
- A flying Eidolon boss!
Jürgen says: Warframe is a game that I always enjoy playing again. So, I’m very happy that The Jovian Concord brings so many new features. My dilemma is just what to start with? Get Wisp? Play the new missions? Grind Nightwave?
It’s nice when you have so much content that you don’t even know where to start.
