After the toilet incident at E3, the streamer Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm was banned from Twitch. It wasn’t clear how long Twitch had banned him. Now it is clear: it was only 14 days. The Twitch ban is over. And DrDisrespect seems to be benefiting from the ban.
Who noticed it? Last night at 2:45 AM German time, a Twitter user noticed that DrDisrespect’s channel was back on Twitch. But some fans of the Doctor were already aware of it.
The Twitter user wrote: “He’s not even there and the Twitch chat is already going wild.” Subs and gifts rained down for the Doctor, with the Champion’s Club celebrating his return.
215,000 new followers – without doing anything
What’s remarkable: According to Social Blade, the Doctor gained 215,426 followers yesterday, even though he did nothing.
His channel has thus grown significantly. He is now in 10th place among streamers worldwide and has overtaken DrLupo.

The whole fuss around him due to E3 2019 has rather benefited him than harmed him.
Will the return break the next record?
Did he stream last night? No, there was nothing from DrDisrespect yesterday. He didn’t tweet much either.
He only recorded this tweet and another article about his return.
Maybe it was too late for the Doctor to stream yesterday, or he speculates that the return will be more spectacular if he announces it beforehand.
The last time DrDisrespect returned after a long break, the rush was huge.
It could very well be that DrDisrespect beats this record again after all the fuss around him and gets over 400,000 simultaneous viewers.
When can we expect DrDisrespect back on Twitch? He will probably start streaming again during the course of today or announce it beforehand.
Why was DrDisrespect banned for 14 days? He was making an “IRL” stream at E3 2019, walking around the fairgrounds with a cameraman and bodyguard filming.
However, he also live-streamed several visits to the public restroom and filmed fair visitors in the process. This violates privacy rights.
DrDisrespect was apparently banned from Twitch for this reason.
