3rd Place: Joey Wheeler

Joey Wheeler is one of Yugi’s best friends. He started as an inexperienced duelist, but was able to develop into one of the best duelists over the course of the anime. One of his most famous cards is the Flame Swordsman.
His very first duel was actually against Mai Valentine, who is in 4th place. Although he was still an amateur, he was able to beat his opponent with Yugi’s help and the support of Tea and Tristan.
Here, too, there are a few duels where it is not clear whether they can really be counted as victories. Joey once managed to win even against Yugi – however, he was under the control of Marik at the time.
2nd Place: Seto Kaiba

Despite his young age, Kaiba is the CEO of Kaiba Corporation, a company focused on manufacturing electronic toys. His most famous card is the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
One of his most controversial duels took place against Yugi. Kaiba refused to lose and climbed onto the wall of a castle. He threatened that he would fall from the wall if he lost. Yugi then surrendered to save his life, and Kaiba became the winner of the duel.
Another impressive victory he achieved was against Ishizu Ishtar. Although she had visions of the future and could foresee every step, Kaiba was able to fight against his fate and secure the victory.
1st Place: Yugi Muto / Yami Yugi

Yugi Muto is, together with Yami Yugi, the rightful king of duelists. And rightly so: After all, they win several tournaments, such as those from the Battle City or the Duelist Kingdom arc. The duo relies on the Dark Magician and later also on the Dark Magician Girl.
The boy defeated the most important opponents from the anime, including Pegasus and Seto Kaiba. He had a particularly emotional duel against the latter at the end of the Battle City Finals. Here, they faced each other with their god cards, leading to beautiful rivalry and emotional moments.
We counted the two people together, as it would otherwise be difficult to separate the victories. But in any case, they have rightfully earned the 1st place in our ranking!
