Before the ambitious survival MMO Dune: Awakening launches in June 2025, tens of thousands of players will have the opportunity to experience the first 20 hours of the game for free.
What’s in the beta? From May 9 to May 12, 2025, you have the chance to participate in a large beta for the survival MMO Dune: Awakening. Participants will gain access to the first 20 hours of the game, which is expected to cover a large part of Act 1 of the story.

This is how you can participate: A chance for beta access is available for those who add the game to their wishlist and request access through the Steam page. Additionally, tens of thousands of beta codes will be awarded during a global stream on May 10, 2025.
The “Global Dune: Awakening LAN Party” will start here at 9:00 PM and can be followed on the Funcom Twitch channel.
The stream will be broadcast live from the PAX East gaming expo in Boston, USA, as well as from London. In addition to the chance for a code, you can expect players playing the game on-site, discussions with the developers, and an exciting competition
between content creators (via Dune Awakening).
Unlike previous betas, this weekend is not under NDA. So if you don’t manage to secure access, you can at least look forward to new information from other players or watch streams of the game on platforms like Twitch.
However, from the previous tests, we at least know that the fight for survival in Dune: Awakening will be tough.
