In Black Desert Online an auction took place where the super-rare mount “Nightmare of Arduanatt” was auctioned for over 21 billion silver in the Korean luxury auction house. The buyer even considers this high price relatively cheap!
In Black Desert Online, a major auction for a special mount took place in the infamous luxury auction house. The “Nightmare of Arduanatt” is a jet-black Pegasus mount that was highly sought after by many players. This noble steed is not available through breeding or loot, but ONLY in the luxury auction house. There, the super-rich of Black Desert bid against each other for special items that cannot be found elsewhere.
Therefore, prices soared to dizzying heights.
Black Flying Steed was still a bargain!
The auction for the black Pegasus ran from September 29 to October 9, 2017. The mount started at a proud price of 5 billion silver. However, it didn’t stay that way for long, as by the last auction day, the price climbed to 16 billion silver.
This remained the case for some time, but in the last minute, the bids came flooding in: First it was 18 billion, then 19, 20, and just before the end 21 billion silver! Thus, the steed went to the player “Meobu”, who still considered the bid cheap. After all, he had grinded a huge amount of silver and would have gone up to 30 billion.
Thus, the luxury auction house once again lived up to its reputation as a money sink (a mechanism to remove money from the game and thus prevent inflation).
Curiously, the black Pegasus mount doesn’t offer anything special compared to the regular Arduanatt mount. The only difference is the jet-black color, which perfectly matches the dark attire of Meobu’s hero.
The luxury auction house currently exists only in Korea and has only been open for a few weeks. Maybe one day it will open its doors in the EU/US version of Black Desert.
