The Summer Medleyfaire update of Amazon’s MMORPG New World is set to bring some new content. It finally has a release date, and fans are glad it will be coming soon.
When will the update be released? The New World summer update is set to be released on July 28, 2022. According to Amazon Games, the server downtime will start at 2:00 PM CEST. The downtime is expected to last for 2 hours.
Thus, the update is expected to go live around 4:00 PM CEST.
What kind of update is this? With the major summer update, New World will introduce a new dungeon, a dungeon finder, and musical instruments.
Additionally, the new event Summer Medleyfaire will be included in the update. Through this event, you can earn new emotes, skins for your armor in the “Heavy Metal” look, and many more rewards.

What else is included in the update? The summer update of New World features several highlights that players can look forward to. We at MeinMMO will summarize some of the most important new features:
- Five musical instruments with 31 songs that you need to collect. The songs grant you and the listeners buffs for 30 to 90 minutes.
- Over 150 perks on equipment will be revised to make them either more useful or to remove bugs.
- A new event for anglers that will run throughout the summer
- Strong overhaul of dungeons including a dungeon finder

What do the players say about the update? The “New World” players were positively surprised by the announcement that the update will be released in July. Many did not seem to believe such an early release would happen and are glad that it has indeed worked out and are looking forward to the new features.
