What can it do? Blackbeard hit the jackpot, as he is the current holder of the Darkness Fruit. With it, the pirate can control darkness, which functions like a black hole: it can absorb anything, including matter, attacks, or even people, and spit them out again.
Its most devastating ability is that the user can neutralize the Devil powers of other users upon touch.
Why is it so strong? The ability to annul the Devil powers of other users is a total game-changer. All other users have a significant disadvantage as soon as Blackbeard touches them:
- Logia users lose their invulnerability
- Paramecia users lose their abilities
- Zoan users lose their transformations
This compensates for the major disadvantage in this ranking that the Darkness Fruit does not grant invulnerability. If the user misses the timing, they can be hit just like everyone else who doesn’t use a Logia fruit. Blackbeard cannot regenerate or reshape his body.
