Since yesterday, the World of Warcraft Hallow’s End event is running. As every year, it’s all about fun, sociability – and of course costumes. And one costume is particularly special!
The Art of Deception: Costumes
Halloween has long ceased to be about driving away evil spirits. Instead, it is a social time to showcase extravagant, clever, or complicated costumes.

Azeroth’s Hallow’s End (original: Hallow‘s End) is no exception. With wands and costumes, characters can slip into another skin for the duration (and even afterwards)!
Become a Horse’s Rear!
This year, a very special costume is a two-piece: Horse Head and Horse Rear! Those who have always behaved like an ass in WoW can now adapt their appearance to their behavior!
Like the dragon from the Moon Festival, the costume requires two players for completeness.

The items can be bought from Dorothy in Stormwind or Chub in Undercity for 150 units of “Trick or Treat”. The best part is: Unlike other costumes, these are not items with charges but toys! They don’t take up inventory space and are usable permanently.
Blizzard has also come up with something for the other costumes. In addition to transformation wands, “Exquisite Costume Sets” can also be purchased again this year. These transform players into raid bosses like Deathwing, Grommash, the Lich King, and, newly added, Xavius (in his dungeon version).

All exquisite costumes cost 200 candies and have 50 charges.
The Raid for On-the-Go: Naxxy
If you don’t care much about costumes, you can look forward to a new pet. In addition to the cute cats and the pumpkin from previous years, this year a mini version of Naxxramas can also be purchased as a companion: Naxxy. Naxxy costs 150 units of sweets and is available from Pippi (Alliance) or Woim (Horde).

The Hallow’s End event this year is from October 18 to November 1. There’s not much time left to get your hands on these nine items!
What do you think? Is the event a success this year? Will you get one of the new costumes or Naxxy, or do you not care about this time of year? Let us know in the comments!
