In the conspiracy MMORPG The Secret World, the next big content patch, Issue #11, now has a start date. It is set to launch on May 6.
The Buy2Play MMO The Secret World distributes new content in “issues.” These are basically purchasable DLCs. It follows a similar model to what The Elder Scrolls Online is now aiming for. As a subscriber, you receive certain points every month, which can be used to purchase DLCs or other items from the shop. However, while in TESO subscribers are supposed to have access to all DLC content as long as the subscription is active, players in TSW still need to purchase the DLC content, preferably with the points they receive monthly due to their membership.
In any case, there’s more new content coming. As lead designer Romain Amiel announced on Twitter, the next issue is set for May 6.

This will once again revolve around Tokyo and bring the current storyline to a close. It will go to the Orochi Tower, where wild experiments and sinister world control ideas from the nefarious Orochi corporation await the players.
