With The Secret World, one of the great promises to humanity is being fulfilled: Hoverboards!
Hollywood promised us two modes of transportation decades ago: jetpacks and hoverboards. Jetpacks were seen in James Bond’s “Thunderball,” in Running Man, and other films. To this day, nothing has come of it. They do exist, but they are just terribly impractical (and dangerous).
We are still a technical distance away from the hoverboards from Back to the Future II. Although, initial prototypes have been developed.
In the MMORPG The Secret World, they are already mature. They will be coming soon as part of the “sprint optimization” .
