That went faster than expected: The release #10 of the dark fantasy MMO The Secret World is now out.
One managed to stay at the front end of the time window. On Tuesday, we quoted from the Producer’s letter, stating that the 10th issue of TSW would be released sometime in the first half of December, and a few days later it was already here.
Issue #10 has been available in the Item Shop since December 4, giving players 3 days of early access, or as it is officially stated:
Issue #10 is now available to all members in the Item Shop, as they are allowed to play the new content 3 days before everyone else. Those who join now will also receive early access and bonus points worth €10 (enough to purchase Issue #10).Please note that you must have Issue #9: The Black Signal and access to Tokyo to play Issue #10.
A comprehensive patch has also been released; here are the patch notes for 1.10 in German.
In a preview trailer, they present Issue 10 “Nightmare in the Palace of Dreams” – and yes, in The Secret World there are assassins in Japanese schoolgirl costumes with a giant bunny head, which is just about the 48th weirdest thing you can find in The Secret World:
