With The Secret World, Game Director Joel Bylos is stepping down, but Update 11 is still on the way. The beginner-friendliness is also set to improve.
The Game Director of The Secret World, Joe Bylos, is moving to a different position within the Norwegian software studio Funcom. He does not specify what this role is, only that The Secret World is better than ever before.
However, there is no timeline for the next major changes yet, despite these bold words. With the next major patch, TSW will become easier and more beginner-friendly. Shortly after this patch, the next content expansion, Update 11, is set to arrive. This will be the farewell to Tokyo, as players tackle the Orochi Tower.
For 2015, more releases in new locations, a long-awaited scenario update, dungeons, and a little bit of PvP are planned.
Whether The Secret World is truly as rosy as the letter suggests is somewhat debatable in light of the recent numbers.
