Shortly after the first DLC for Conan Exiles, “Empire in the East”, was released, Funcom now announces the next DLC. The “Jewel of the West” brings the Aquilonians and is set to release soon.
Aquilonia DLC in August: The next DLC for Conan Exiles is expected to be released at the beginning of August. After the first expansion brought the Khitai in the east, the next DLC “Jewel of the West” will bring the Aquilonians from the west to Conan Exiles.
Second DLC “Jewel of the West” brings Roman cities
The Aquilonians are a people in the west of Hyboria, where Conan will one day reign as king in the story of Conan Exiles. The Aquilonians are inspired by the historical Romans – their weapons, armor, and buildings reflect a Roman style.
What’s in the Aquilonia DLC: Like the first expansion, “Empire in the East”, the second DLC of Conan Exiles brings new building pieces and equipment. These items only provide a new appearance and do not have better stats than comparable items in the game.
Included in the “Jewel of the West” DLC are:
- 39 new building pieces – a complete set of Tier-3 building pieces for your base.
- 15 new armor pieces in three sets, called “Black Dragon Armor” in light, medium, and heavy variants, each having an epic version for the endgame.
- Nine new weapons in Aquilonian style, available in iron and epic variants.
- Five new Aquilonian decorative war paints, symbolizing things like dominion and valor.
- 25 new placeable items like harps and advisor chairs, which can be crafted at the Aquilonian craftsman’s workbench.
Roman decadence in Conan Exiles: With the new building pieces, you can build massive structures resembling the city palaces of Roman senators or even recreate a coliseum.
By using the new placeable items, you can bring a decadent flair to your home. Whether it’s an advisor room or a bathhouse to relax in – it’s up to you how to utilize the new possibilities.
Funcom continues to work on free content and bug fixes: The team for the new DLC works independently from the developers handling bug fixes and support for the game. A major update is expected later this quarter, which will allow animal taming and introduce a new god.
Additionally, a major patch is on the way at the beginning of August, which is set to fix over 500 bugs currently afflicting the game. Even players who do not wish to purchase the DLCs can soon look forward to new features and improvements!
