Borderlands 3 has extensive DLC plans. There is a Season Pass and a lot of additional content.
Many players have already completed the story of Borderlands 3 and are looking for new content. Is there more to come for Borderlands 3 or is it already over? Silly question, of course there will be more! The Season Pass brings a total of 4 fresh DLCs with new missions, stories, and of course plenty of cool weapons.
4 Story DLCs confirmed: A total of 4 DLCs have already been confirmed. These can be purchased individually when they are released or directly as a cheaper bundle in the Season Pass. They will all be released by September 2020 at the latest.
Those who get the “Super Deluxe Edition” or “Collector’s Edition” will receive the Season Pass included. This also contains special cosmetic items, namely a weapon skin, a weapon trinket, and a grenade mod in the Buttstallion style.
First DLC “Moxxi’s Heist of The Handsome Jackpot” coming soon
This is the first DLC: Soon players can look forward to the first of four DLCs. The story DLC “Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot” will be available starting December 19 – both for individual purchase and in the Season Pass.
The world of Borderlands 3 will be expanded in this DLC with a huge casino built by the familiar Handsome Jack. Of course, there will be plenty of loot and enemies alongside gambling. You can find all the info about the DLC here:
The Borderlands 3 Season Pass on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
What is the price of the Season Pass? The Season Pass has the same price on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In the official stores, it is offered for €49.99 each. This corresponds to a price of €12.50 per DLC. It is not known how much the individual DLCs cost if purchased outside the Season Pass. You can buy the Season Pass here:

DLC policy remains traditional: At Borderlands 3, the developers seem to stay true to their DLC policy and simply adopt the model from Borderlands 2. This means that in the upcoming months, four DLCs will be released, each with new missions, areas, and stories to entice players.

What do the other DLCs look like?
How extensive will the DLCs be? There is little to say about the exact size of the DLCs. However, if Gearbox uses the size of the DLCs from Borderlands 2 as a guide, each of them should provide many hours of fun, include several boss encounters, and have a high replay value. The DLCs from Borderlands 2 set new standards for many players back then. And at least the “Handsome Jackpot” DLC looks like a lot of content.
Will there be more DLCs? Whether more DLCs will be released after the Season Pass expires is uncertain. However, this is quite possible, as additional DLCs were also released for Borderlands 2, such as new character classes or an increase in the level cap. However, here too, only speculation is currently possible. Further content is likely dependent on the success of the first Season Pass.
