Shortly before the release of Diablo 4 on June 6, the price of the WoW brand stabilized at around 350,000 gold. Today, on June 6, the peak reached 414,000 gold. An increase of about 64,000 gold. In the last 7 days, the lowest price was only 326,458 gold. This would compare to an increase of almost 90,000 gold.
How much would Diablo 4 cost with WoW gold? If you want to buy Diablo 4 with WoW gold, you need to invest quite a bit. A WoW token currently costs 414,000 gold and brings €13 in credit. The standard edition of Diablo 4 costs €69.99 on Battle.net. You would need to roughly sell 6 tokens for €13 to have enough credit for the standard edition. That amounts to 2,484,000 gold.
How does this price increase occur? One possible explanation is that many WoW players are currently using their gold to buy WoW brands and then exchanging them at Blizzard for credit. With this credit, they can purchase Diablo 4 without having to spend their “money”. They pay with the gold they earned from World of Warcraft.
Due to the release of Diablo 4, it seems that more players want to buy these WoW brands right now than before the release, when the price was quite stable at 340,000 gold or less.
