The rarest Fortnite skin “Recon Expert” has returned to the item shop today, May 27, 2020, after more than 920 days. It was considered one of the OG skins.
What kind of skin is this? This skin is the absolute OG skin: Recon Expert. It first appeared in the item shop on October 30, 2017.
After that, it was only added to the shop one more time on November 12, 2017. Until this day, Recon Expert never appeared again in Fortnite’s item shop.
Thus, it counted among the rarest skins in Fortnite.

What’s new? The skin from the old days of Fortnite returned today, May 27, 2020, to Fortnite’s item shop. It celebrates its return after a full 927 days without being seen in the shop.
Players who have long wanted to buy this skin now finally have the chance. The skin is available in the item shop for 1,200 V-Bucks, which is approximately 12 euros.
Where is the style variant for OGs?
It is not the first time that rare skins return to the item shop. However, when these outfits returned, there was an exclusive style variant for players who purchased the skin at the time of its initial release.
This was meant to show that the players are among the absolute veterans of Fortnite and have been there from the beginning. It was the same with Halloween skins like Skull Trooper when it returned to the item shop.
Recon Expert has received another style variant where she no longer wears a hat, but both the OG variant and the new one are available for all players to purchase.
This means Recon Expert is officially no longer one of the OG skins, as it can no longer be distinguished whether someone purchased it in Season 1 Chapter 1 or not. This is likely to annoy some players who bought this skin at the very beginning. Probably, everyone will be running around with this skin, just like it was with the return of Skull Trooper.
