In 2024, the Streamer Awards took place again in Germany. There, awards are given in various categories based on community votes. There was once again the Best Rage Moment
and it was won by someone who is known as a relaxed guy.
What are the Streamer Awards? On December 5, 2024, the Streamer Awards took place again. This is an award ceremony for the German-speaking Twitch community, where the community can vote in various categories for different nominees.
Once again, the popular Best Rage Moment
was included. Well-known streamers were nominated again, but one stood out a bit:

In the category, NoWay wins, who is actually known as a relaxed guy and does not fit the stereotype of the angry LoL player at all. When he receives the award, he even apologizes once again.

NoWay is actually a relaxed guy
Why did NoWay freak out back then? In the clip, NoWay reacts to a comment in the chat that says it has been toxic in the chat recently. NoWay then freaks out, insulting his viewers. Especially the user Chappo seems to have caught his attention, as he says to him in the clip: Then just piss off.
This doesn’t quite fit NoWay’s character, as he is known as a rather relaxed streamer who remains calm even in annoying situations while playing. Unlike the popular Tyler1, he is also watched for his game explanations and calm demeanor.
But that seems to be the reason why he was chosen. Unlike other streamers, a freak-out is quite atypical for NoWay. In his acceptance speech
, he even apologizes:
This was really the award I didn’t want to win. […] That was a very bad moment for me. Chappo, if you hear this out there, message me, you’ll get an award too. I am very, very sorry, it unfortunately got a bit out of hand. I take this as a reminder to pay a little more attention in the future.
Fans seem to have liked NoWay’s speech. For example, Vinsmoke34 wrote on reddit: I thought it was sweet how NoWay apologized for his award-winning rage moment.
League of Legends is a game that often ignites the tempers of players, this is well-known. NoWay has criticized the game several times in the past and even considered quitting: “If nothing changes, I’m out” – is NoWay quitting LoL soon?
