In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the training mode “Creative” has received an update. You can now adjust various parameters. This is well-received, but players want even more customization options. Most importantly, they want old weapons back.
What is Creative? Creative is a kind of training sandbox mode for Fortnite. There, you can do whatever you want for 45 minutes. Alone or with up to four teammates.
There are respawns, plenty of loot, and much more resources to gather than usual. Therefore, players have already built the craziest creations and even created their own mini-games just for Creative.
A new update is now coming that offers you even more options for Creative.
New Creative with Custom Parameters
This is what the new Creative brings: With the update of Creative, you now have the choice: You can play as usual. Or you set your own rules for the round using the “Custom Options” button. These options were once in the game, but were temporarily removed due to bugs.
Now the options are back and include:
- Shields are automatically full or half-full.
- You have full health or less.
- Your items will drop when you die, or not.
- There is fall damage or none.
- The gravity is normal, low, or very low.
- Should there be a day/night cycle in the gameplay, or should it always be day or night,
- Constant display of player names and positions, only in a team, or not at all.
More fun thanks to options: With these parameters, you can do all sorts of fun new things in Creative. This includes absurd bounce houses with minimal gravity or epic shootouts with full shields.
And players who constantly fall from somewhere will surely appreciate the option to disable fall damage.
Fans Want Even More Options and One in Particular
The new options are well-received by Fortnite fans. However, there are still some wishes that fans are requesting as additional customization options:
- Alternative spawn options
- Direct fall instead of gliding
- Limited weapon selection, for example, only sniper rifles or only shotguns
- Adjustable time limit for when the storm arrives
Players Want All Weapons: The most cherished wish of the community, however, is an option that ALL weapons that have ever existed in the game can appear in Creative.
So also and especially the weapons that Epic has removed from the game in the last 12 months. Among them especially the Drum Gun or even the legendary laser rifle Zapotron from Season 1.
Whether Epic will comply with this is still unclear. But it wouldn’t be the first time that the developers implement a wish from the community. That’s why there is now an option to thank the bus driver in the game.
