Most people know Zach Braff as J.D. from the sitcom Scrubs. There, he plays a somewhat clumsy but friendly young doctor. However, the actor once saw red when a boy vandalized his new Porsche with paint – it was actually just a prank with a hidden camera.
Punk’d is an American show created by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, where famous people are pranked with hidden cameras.
One day, Scrubs actor Donald Faison (Turk) arranged for his colleague Zach Braff to be the next victim of a prank. However, the situation escalated, and the angry actor even became physical.
The brand new Porsche was the target of the prank
What did the prank look like? The actor owned a brand new car worth $100,000, a Porsche, and parked it in front of a liquor store.
Along with Faison, the actor was approached by a group of children who asked if the two could buy them alcohol. Braff refused and entered the liquor store with his co-star.

When he left the store, he saw his new car covered in graffiti paint, while the children were just seen fresh at the scene.
Originally, the prank was designed so that the actor would not be able to catch the culprits, the young actors.
You can see in the episode how Braff chased one of the children. In the next moment, the boy is intercepted by the fake security guard.
However, as the actor told on The Graham Norton Show, he did catch the culprit and struck him in the stomach several times.
This is not shown in the aired episode, but you can still sense how angry Braff was at that moment. He yelled at the 12-year-old and insulted him several times, which was censored in the show. He repeatedly asked the boy if he seriously thought he could escape prison. Because that was surely waiting for him.

According to his own statement on the show with Graham Norton, Braff said he only realized afterward that he had a child standing in front of him:
“And I couldn’t see it from my perspective because my adrenaline was so high that he looked up and he was a little boy, and I stopped because I hadn’t noticed he was that young.”
He also added that the scene in which the actor became physical with the boy was cut from the finished episode of Punk’d. After all, they didn’t want to show a child being hit on camera.
