This is what he said in the interview: When Nvidia’s CEO was asked how he feels being that Nvidia is now the most valuable chip company in the USA, he explained: “Well, I can’t say that I have thought about it much. I have received a lot of congratulations. But you know me. I still feel like the company is barely hanging on.”
What he means by that, he explains in more detail afterward:
I didn’t mean to say that. I didn’t know if you remembered or not. But I literally feel every morning that we are bankrupt in 30 days. I wake up in a panic. I have a lot of work ahead of me. We have a company to save. We have a number of partners and a lot of companies that we don’t want to disappoint. This feeling never leaves me.

Nvidia is not really facing bankruptcy; rather, Huang uses it as a psychological trick to spur himself to new heights.
