The largest streamer on Twitch, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, is reportedly cheating in Fortnite: Battle Royale. At least that’s what a professional player claims: Tfue is said to be using forbidden macros and key binds, it is said.
This is the situation: The Fortnite professional Williams “Zayt” Aubin, who was among the favorites at the 2019 Fortnite World Championship, accused 6 other players from the Fortnite scene of cheating.
He made this accusation in Twitter posts, which he deleted shortly afterwards. However, screenshots were secured. In the first post, he said he would expose all professionals who use “double movement macros”.

Below, he showed a screenshot from the official Epic Games site, where the rules for the FNCS Invitational tournament were listed. It clearly states that the use of such programs is prohibited.
Which professionals are allegedly cheating? In another tweet, he allegedly pointed his finger at the Fortnite professionals Tfue, UnknownArmy, Zexrow, BuckeFPS, Khanada, and Kreo. But the tweets were quickly deleted and Zayt also did not provide any evidence for his accusations.
FortniteIntel asked the Fortnite professional Zayt for a statement on this topic. He responded: “So far, there is no evidence against anyone except Tfue.”
Professional is convinced that Tfue is cheating
What does the Fortnite professional say? Even though Zayt cannot confirm that the other 5 accused players are using these cheats, he seems firmly convinced that Tfue is indeed cheating.

He said in a Twitter post that Tfue uses macros but would never get banned because he is the largest streamer.
Zayt claims there is evidence for Tfue’s cheating, but it has not been shown yet.
Tfue has not yet commented on these allegations.
What is “macro double moving” anyway?
What are the professionals supposed to have used? The “double moving” allows “mouse and keyboard” players to move in one direction while looking in another. This also affects a player’s movement, making it easier and faster to run to the left or right.
But it can also help when building, as PC players can place building objects on the sides while running forward. This can be easily achieved by binding the movement keys to two different keys.

However, it becomes cheating when one uses macro software to bind the keys differently. With this software, one can assign the keys to just one keystroke, thus only needing to press one button to achieve the same benefits. But exactly this behavior, simulating pressing multiple keys with one key, is prohibited by Epic in its rules and thus would be considered “cheating.”
And this cheat is now being accused against professionals like Tfue. It is also not the first time that Tfue has been accused of cheating. For example, Ninja thought he encountered an aim-bot, which turned out to be Tfue who simply had such good aim.
