A streamer on Twitch attempted Elden Ring some time ago and finished the game with great effort. Now he claims that no game is too difficult for him. But does that also apply to a very specific MMORPG?
Which streamer is being talked about? We are talking about Kai Cenat, the current number 1 on the streaming platform Twitch. He has been active since 2021 and has broken several records in his career.
On his channel, which according to sullygnome.com has 14.8 million followers (as of November 25, 2024), he streams well-known titles like Elden Ring. With this game, he was able to attract a lot of attention. After all, Elden Ring is known for its high level of difficulty, which makes it great for streaming.
Watching his favorite streamer die a virtual death over and over again is simply entertaining. After many hours, Kai Cenat finished the game with over 1,700 deaths. That is quite a lot, even for Elden Ring.
His performance in the game showed that he can persevere. He now even believes that no game is too difficult for him. In his stream, his viewers sent him suggestions for games that they thought Cenat would struggle with. One title stands out in particular.

Kai Cenat responded to the suggestion: “My heart is too tough. RuneScape? I could win any game I set my mind to.” A clip of this statement was shared by the user Jake Lucky on x.com.
This statement is interesting because Old School RuneScape cannot simply be completed. On the one hand, it is an MMORPG that keeps many players engaged for years due to its vast amount of content. On the other hand, the game has no real end.
The closest endpoint can be reaching level 99 in all skills. Speedruns show that this endeavor takes a very long time, even in a quick run. The record is a whopping 32 days, 3 hours, and 3 minutes (via speedrun.com).
Kai Cenat would probably need much longer, especially since he is not yet familiar with the game. His viewers are partially aware of how difficult and tedious it can be to “finish” Old School RuneScape. Therefore, they suggested to the streamer not to aim for the max level but to set alternative goals, such as completing all quests.
Whether Cenat really takes on the challenge remains to be seen. It would certainly be an exciting experiment that could overshadow the great struggles of completing Elden Ring once more.
