The upcoming Patch 11 is ready with some delay for Fallout 76. A small preview shows what the new update brings. Among other things, it addresses a problem that has concerned players since the game’s release.
This problem will be fixed: The upcoming Patch 11 for Fallout 76 addresses a frequently criticized issue by the community regarding the recycling of “Large Amounts” of junk.
With the patch, players will no longer break down “Large Amounts” when pressing the “Recycle All Junk” button. They will keep the junk in large bundles.
Only when the junk is needed for crafting or repairs will “Large Amounts” be automatically broken down again.
Although this problem has concerned many players for a long time, the other changes seem to be received even better.
What’s in Patch 11
This will make Fallout 76 easier: With Patch 11, Fallout 76 will become significantly easier, especially for new players. Several improvements ensure that newcomers have a smoother entry:
- Food and flares remain edible for 50% longer, spoiling slower
- Fast travel no longer decreases the durability of food
- Fast travel costs fewer corn cobs under level 25
- Players under level 15 are less susceptible to diseases
- Creatures in Ash Heap, Savage Divide, and Toxic Valley will be somewhat weakened
This aims to help new players who started with Fallout 76 after the free week after E3 and also other players who wish to start. One reason for new players is likely the popularity of the new Battle Royale.
This will make Fallout 76 clearer: Furthermore, Bethesda is improving the clarity. For many items, it is now clearer at first glance what they actually provide:
- All attributes of legendary items will always be displayed in the trade, sales, and container menus
- Recipes and mods now provide a description of the items that can be crafted with them
Previously, with legendary items, only the top attribute was visible. For everything else, details had to be viewed. Now all attributes are listed immediately.
What else changes? Fallout 76 will also see changes to the popular Power Armors. You can choose between standard and Power Armor HUD and use Stealth Boys while wearing Power Armor.
Additionally, the bowl returns. This is a change that particularly excited many players on reddit. With bowls, you can offer homemade alcohol in your C.A.M.P. just be careful not to crash with your friends while using Nukashine…
When will the patch be released? Patch 11 was supposed to be released in early July 2019. However, some features needed a bit more processing time. Therefore, the release has been postponed to around mid-July. We’ll report as soon as the patch goes live.
