During the gamescom 2021, the new Saints Row was presented for 2022 with a release date and content. Here we show you the trailer and what crazy characters and quests await you in the game.
What kind of game is this? Saints Row is basically the crazy sibling of Grand Theft Auto. While GTA has become (partially) more mature and adult, Saints Row has often dialed up the “chaos” and “nonsense” for the good feeling of players.
During gamescom 2021, the team released a trailer for the new Saints Row installment. We will embed the trailer here and show what is already known about the game.
Saints Row 2022 – Trailer and Content
The trailer: In the colorful video, you will see the cinematic trailer for the announcement of the game spread over about three and a half minutes. You can already get an impression of the characters you will meet during the story and may also be able to play.
When is the release and on which platforms? The new Saints Row has its release on February 25, 2022. It will be available for PS4/PS5, Xbox One / Xbox Series, and for PC (via Epic Games).
What is it about? With your gang, you will establish your own criminal organization and want to rise to the top, pushing other groups out of the way. You are the boss of the group and also have Neenah, Kevin, and Eli on your team, whom you lead.
You fight against Los Panteros, the Idels, and Marshall.
The developers describe it as the “largest, best Saints Row playground of all time”. The world of Santo Eleso is supposed to offer a sandbox full of side quests, criminal undertakings, and blockbuster missions.
What do we know about the weapons? Revolvers, rocket launchers, and miniguns have already been confirmed through trailers and information from the developers. There are also supposed to be heavy melee weapons.
What vehicles are there? You have a choice of cars, motorcycles, airplanes, helicopters, VTOLs, hoverbikes, hoverboards, go-karts, or wingsuits for your vehicles.
Is there coop? Of course, Saints Row brings you a coop mode again. It is supposed to be completely location-independent and available to join and leave at any time. You can invite a friend at any time.
