What’s the deal with the belt? Since the Forsaken Raid Last Wish, the World First winner receives not only fame and honor within the community and an official mention from Bungie, but also a high-quality physical trophy.
In the style of a World Championship belt in boxing, all members of the victorious fireteam receive a World First Champion belt with the insignia of the raid as well as their own names.
This honors the players’ achievements in a way that has never been done before, adding a championship flair to the World First race.

When is the official start for the raid? Scourge of the Past opens its doors on Friday, December 7, at 6 PM our time. Then the race for the World First title starts. Will the Redeem Clan be able to secure the coveted belt again?
These are the requirements for the new raid: The raid is part of the first premium DLC “The Black Armory” and is therefore only available to owners of the Annual Pass.
There is no minimum requirement for the Power Level. The recommended Power Level is 640, which is only 10 levels below the new Power Cap of 650.
Thus, all Season Pass holders can enter the raid, depending on the individual level of the Guardians, the challenge will then be greater or lesser. With only three days of lead time, however, very few players are likely to reach the level recommendation.
Whether the raid will be as tough initially as Last Wish or the Leviathan Raid remains to be seen.
What can Guardians expect in Scourge of the Past? Scourge of the Past is not an additional raid section but a fully-fledged new raid. In terms of scale, this new raid will be larger than the Leviathan raid sections but smaller than the Last Wish – the largest raid Bungie has created to date.
Traditionally, Bungie hasn’t revealed much about the content. The raid takes place in the ruins of the Last City on Earth. There lies the most valuable treasure of the Black Armory, which is now being besieged by the Fallen Siviks and his crew.
The battles are said to be action-packed and adrenaline-fueled, reminiscent of the “Wrath of the Machine” raid from Destiny 1. Additionally, you will be able to use your Sparrows in some sections.
What rewards are there in the new raid? Bungie hasn’t revealed anything about the weapons and armor yet. However, those who complete the raid within the first 24 hours after release will receive a special in-game emblem.
