An indie studio has introduced a new MMORPG where you find action instead of grind. Zeal sounds like a promising PvP MMO where you can unleash your heart’s desire.
Zeal – new MMORPG without grind: A new action MMORPG is on the horizon. Zeal, an indie MMO from Lycanic Studios, in its first gameplay trailer, shows that it is different: an MMORPG with full fun and no grind.
What is Zeal?
Zeal is a PvP-oriented MMORPG with PvE elements where players can create a character and dive straight into the action. The developers promise that you can get to the point without any tedious leveling or farming beforehand.
Gameplay: In Zeal, everything depends on strategy, positioning, reaction speed, accuracy, and teamwork. The fights are fast and intense, with realistic physics adding even more action.
Zeal focuses on PvP, meaning player-versus-player combat is one of the main content aspects. A dynamic weather system, destructible environments, and adaptive AI complete the game.
Classes without classes: Zeal offers you a choice of 15 classes: Brute, Judicator, Naturalist, Wizard, Warrior, Shaman, Outlaw, Ranger, Witch, Cultist, Lancer, Shapeshifter, Beastmaster, Cleric, and Exile.
The classes are not classic archetypes; you can customize them and come up with your own builds for each class. From the choice of weapons to the skills, attributes, and perks, you can enjoy creating each class.
Zeal gives you the opportunity to fulfill any role you want, whether tank, healer, support, “pet master”, melee fighter, etc.
Game modes: Lycatic Studios has already announced several game modes that will come into play depending on the status of the Kickstarter:
PvP
- Arena mode in 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 as “casual” and ranked variants.
- Conquest mode with 35 teams of 2 players each fighting for dominance on a huge open-world map.
- Various team vs. team battlefields ranging from 5v5 to 25v25 players.
PvE
- Dungeons for 5 or fewer players with a challenge mode.
- Single-player and co-op campaigns.
