The first annual festival is coming to Astellia in just a few days. It will all revolve around Halloween and candy, and the developers have now published some details.
What happens during Halloween in Astellia? During the Halloween event, you can look forward to the following activities:
- Candy drops from enemies in the open world
- special event quests
- a special event dungeon
Many cities and environments in Astellia will also be festively decorated with pumpkins, providing a spooky atmosphere.
The candy tokens earned during the festive activities can be exchanged for rewards at a vendor, including a special costume.
When does Halloween take place in Astellia? The Halloween event begins with the end of maintenance on October 22 and is scheduled to end on November 5 at 9:00 AM our time.
Many different tasks for Halloween
What quests can you expect? During Halloween, there will be various daily quests that can be completed between levels 1 and 50. You can obtain them in all major cities of the game.
Additionally, there is a big event quest where you must defeat 10 “Pumpkin Head” monsters. As a reward, you will receive a Candy Box containing the following items:
- Stinky candy tokens (500 pieces)
- Dungeon tickets (4 pieces)
- Sweet candy pack (1 piece)
- Asper (8,000 pieces)
What level is required for the event dungeon? The event dungeon was specifically created for Halloween and contains suitable monsters and decorations.
To join, you must have reached level 35, and 2 dungeon tickets will be consumed. The rewards include:
- Stinky candy tokens (10 pieces)
- The chance for a rare costume (Eligos, the Sugar King)
- plus the normal dungeon rewards
At first glance, this sounds like a lucrative goal to farm during the event.
What can you exchange the tokens for? For the earned candy tokens, you can exchange the following items at a special vendor in all major cities:
- A White Skeleton costume (4,000 tokens)
- Random buff food (50 tokens)
- Buffs that provide 5% more XP, 5% more XP for Astels, or a 5% increased drop rate for rare items for 30 minutes (20 tokens each)
- Potions for health and mana points (20 tokens each)
What comes after Halloween? It was only in early October that Astellia introduced the first new contents for the endgame, including higher classes and legendary dungeons. For the coming weeks, you will first be busy with Halloween.
However, there are still some more updates planned for 2019, including the unlocking of Avalon, two new Astels, item fusions, and more legendary dungeons.
