A new teaser for Dead by Daylight is causing a lot of speculation among fans. It will be frosty and perhaps a bit crazy.
It has been almost three months since the latest killer “The Spirit” arrived in Dead by Daylight. For the developer Behaviour, it’s about time to introduce the next killer – and they are already working on it. A total of two small teasers have already been released by the developers, giving the first hints about the upcoming killer.
A map in the snow: The first one is a small image, probably of the new map. It appears to be going into a proper snowy map for the first time, specifically a ski resort. However, it does not look particularly inviting anymore, being old and dilapidated. What’s interesting is that at the front of the image, a person (or at least their clothing) is lying on the ground. What could have happened there?
The second teaser is clearer and was released during a developer stream.
What is to be seen? The person is standing with a knife at a mirror, and as the camera slowly pans to the right, you can see that the same person appears multiple times in the reflection. However, each time they are wearing a different mask, suggesting different personalities.
This is also supported by the fact that there are some names (Frank, Joe, Susie, and an unclear name) next to the mirror, along with a “tally chart” for each. Does the tally chart represent the different murders that each personality has already committed?
What the community suspects: On the Dead by Daylight Reddit, there are already speculations that the killer has multiple personalities and thus different abilities. Depending on which mask they wear, they could have a different terror radius or different special abilities.
However, this is still just speculation.
The PTR with the new chapter is expected to be playable next week. Then we will likely be presented with the new killer, as well as the new map and the survivor along with their perks.
