The developers are not only in a legal dispute with Nintendo, which claims its own patent has been violated. It has also been announced that Palworld will have a crossover with the 2D game Terraria. However, not all fans view this positively.
When it comes to new content, Palworld doesn’t hold back on providing fans with more, even aside from collaborations. As the developers announced, the game will receive a big update in December. The highlight will be a large, new area.
A mysterious island full of Pals
What kind of area is this? On x.com, the developers announced the currently unnamed update. This new area is an island – similar to the last big update “Sakurajima”.
On the new island, fans can also expect new Pals and numerous challenges. The developers describe it as a tough and mysterious environment. Early images emphasize this. They show strange crystals protruding from the ground, as well as forests and caves filled with glowing stones.
Especially regarding the size of the new island, the developers are setting new standards for their game. According to the post on x.com, the new area is supposed to be about six times larger than Sakurajima.
There is much for both new and old players to discover. It will be interesting to see if, like with the last update, more players will populate the Palworld servers again.
