Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has a massive problem with cheaters and various exploits in the game. However, this should change with the upcoming patch “Spicy.” The developers will take concrete measures to make the game fairer again.
What do the developers want to change with the new patch? A new patch for Fall Guys, codenamed “Spicy,” will be released soon. It brings several adjustments, including the setting that the spectator function will now primarily focus on remaining team members, but also concrete adjustments in gameplay.
Various exploits are expected to be fixed, particularly the one in the Final Level Jump Showdown that allowed players to cling to the platform indefinitely and sit out the round without any action. Additional adjustments will prevent hanging on items that enable such exploits in the future.
We’ve got a patch that’s almost ready to go – will hopefully drop it in the next week!

This is what the developers say about cheaters: Another topic of the patch is cheaters. They will also be increasingly driven out of the game, and the concrete measures will come into play with the Spicy update.
Developers do not want to warn cheaters
What are the developers doing against cheaters? The announcement to take action against cheaters in Fall Guys is not included in the patch notes and was posted separately by a developer on reddit. They are aware of the issue with cheaters and hackers and will implement concrete measures in the patch.
But what exactly they are doing remains a secret. They do not want to warn cheaters and aim to catch as many as possible in one go, without giving them a chance to prepare.
What could happen to cheaters? Common practice in such cases is to expel cheaters from the game and ban them. They would then have to buy the game again to continue playing. More radical anti-cheater measures could include hardware or IP bans, which are more difficult to bypass and effectively permanently deny cheaters access to the game.
What the developers actually have planned will only be revealed when the “Spicy” update is released later this week. According to a tweet from the developers, the patch is already almost ready.
Even with exploits and cheaters, Fall Guys is a lot of fun, as the colorful battle royale is simply a blast. This is especially because the game is horribly inaccurate and clunky, which in this case is an advantage. At least that’s what Jürgen Horn says here in his review of Fall Guys.
